TENTE is a world wide operating company group. Our policy is based on the requirements of our customers and the market - we have achieved our leading position as a castor manufacturer by our innovative ideas, sophisticated products and high quality.
We cooperate with suppliers who help us to ensure our targets and demands. Our corporate success is largely dependent upon the efficiency of our suppliers and their ability to solve problems. The relationship with our suppliers is focussed on reliability, performance and long-term basis. A long-lasting partnership requires:
• Preparedness for innovation
• High product and process quality
• Reliability regarding deadlines and delivery
• Competitive prices on an international basis.
An indispensable demand on our suppliers is the entire compliance with the applicable legal regulations. We only cooperate with such partners who treat their employees fairly and in accordance with the existing laws concerning wages, social benefits and working conditions.
Purchasing decisions are made as a team and solely according to objective and comprehensible criteria. Supplier ratings are effected regularly and on a cross-functional basis.
TENTE has high ethical demands. No business transaction is worth putting the reputation of our company at stake. We also make every effort not to endanger the reputation of our business partners. We would like to clarify our point of view for some situations:
Gifts
As a sign of our appreciation, at TENTE, we make small gifts to our business partners at given occasions, e.g. giveaway. This accordingly applies to our employees who are only allowed to accept gifts up to a value of € 35.
Entertainment
We think informal meetings, such as dinner with business partners, are an important opportunity for the development and fostering of business relations. However, we do not regard the participation in expensive events, such as great sport, theatre or other cultural events, as indispensable in order to boost business relations. If you plan to invite a TENTE employee to an event, please make sure that this serves a legitimate business purpose and please send this invitation to the company management or head of the purchasing department which will arrange for the participation of the respective TENTE representative.
